I dont know how many people still follow this site, but it was a fun hobby, but I don't know if I can afford to keep it going, nor can I compete with Butch's awesome updates through myspace, twitter, facebook. He's got the best news of any musician! Most don't provide 1/2 as much updates/communication as he does!

Also having a daughter has taken away from my free time I used to update the site.

If I do cancel the site...thanks for coming to the site!

Leavin The Game on Luckie St DVD -Quick Review

I received my DVD for Leavin The Game on Luckie St from the presale today! I went straight to the TV and cranked up the surround sound immediately. Having attended the show in Cleveland, OH & Columbus, OH I felt like I was right back in the moment!

The DVD is excellent, from the menu playing with his cover of James "Laid" playing in the background, to the end when you see him calming the crowd down to a whisper while humming Canyon's. This is an excellent purchase, and if you were unable to attend the show you should 100% purchase a copy! If you did see the show though, you should still purchase this DVD!

I told my wife "When we have kids I am going to have them watch this DVD to get them to like awesome music"!

After watching this, it only makes me more anxious to await the release of his new albums!

5 of 5 Stars! Musicians should also buy this DVD and learn a thing or two about how to create complete, energetic & meaningful albums!

Make sure to get the new DVD!

Butch's Home Lost in fire

Incase you didnt know, Butch's home and posessions were lost in the fires in Malibu. I would have posted this sooner, but I have been finishing up with school, and havent been online much...

Says Walker "I had just consolidated my entire recording studio and house from Atlanta into the one house In Malibu. I lost everything I've ever owned. Every master of every song I've ever recorded, every piece of recording equipment, guitars, drums and things I've collected over the years, cars, motorcycles, every family memorial, heirloom, picture, and document we ever had.... Gone. I feel like I finally know the difference between 'going back' and 'going home'."

Music Listeners vs Music Lovers. Butch refers to his listeners as Music Lovers, which I find very true. The people who are into Butch really love music and the emotions that music provides. I hate when people hear 1 song by someone and act like they are their biggest fan because they are popular (aka mainstream radio songs).

...I have been extremely busy. I am getting married in September, we just got a house a few months ago, and I am working full-time while also taking a summer class. I have not seen any major news to post, until then, please come back soon!

I will be attending The April 11th (Cleveland Ohio) and 13th (Columbus Ohio) shows. I should have 2 friends tagging along who have only been familiar with Butch Walker through myself and being a fan. I hope they enjoy themselves as much as I do! I know they liked some of the songs I've let them hear, but after seeing him live I am sure they would have to be hooked too! I'll post how it goes w/ pictures hopefully!

Also, just in case you haven't heard, we donated our Australian guitarist (Michael Guy Chislett) to our buddies in The Academy Is to go play with them because they are family (hell, I produced the new record and Michael played on it)... So it all makes sense. Lot's of love in the room! I am pleased to say I am taking on the road, my good friend Jamie (from American HiFi). He will be joining the Revolving cast of Gypsies known as TLGOT's. He is a mother on guitar, so you know what kind of a treat you are in for.

Fall Out Boy's new record hit #1 on Billboards Top 200. If you didn't know Butch produced a song on the record and his backup singers Sofi & Lindsey did some gang vocals on the tracks Bang The Doldrums, This Aint A Scene and Hum Hallelujah.

Its great to see a album Butch and the girls had a hand in has gotten to the #1 Spot on Billboard. This could only help their careers by hopefully getting them more exposure. Great job guys!

As well Lindsey from The Lets Go Out Tonites informed me they will only be touring with Butch for about 1 week on the tour. This is because the girls will be touring with Avril Lavigne. No word on the exact dates yet, but I'll try to keep everyone up to date.

As the post below says, the tour dates have been posted. I pre-ordered 2 tickets for Cleveland (April 11th) & Columbus (April 13th) shows in Ohio! I am going to take a vacation day on the 12th since the Cleveland shows on a wednesday. But the Columbus show is on a Friday so I don't have to worry about work the next day!

If anyone goes to those shows maybe I'll see a few familiar faces from our myspace page!

i was thinking.. right about now is when i need a good little change in the schedule to make life interesting. i'm gonna go back out on a quick tour. who wants to come? i will take out some new songs... some old songs that i haven't played in forever.. a few new folks to play with.. maybe even a few new cities... let's do this. march 22 through april 23... i think we will start with that.

This is great news! My Birthday is at the end of March, so I hope he comes to Cleveland Ohio!
